From the 60 Minutes video that was shown in class last Thursday I found myself surprised by how much information I didn't realize was left out. I only realized that they left out the view of the other men involved (under their own will) but still. I didn't realize that the story was told by all women besides the dad or that the cop who told her not to go to court truly persuaded her.
There are many perspectives that would be included in my Annotated Bibliography. I'm researching the world's perspective on 9/11, which leads to different countries and cultures, along with our own view (Americas). The story that is being told by my research thus far has many views and opinions. For example, how we Americans now view Muslims and vice versa. Also, how other countries such as China took the news of the attacks and so forth. Other perspectives I could consider would be from our government and our military. I feel like they didn't respond to the attacks well and to the questions many of us Americans had. They left much detail out of the report that will never be answered. I’m not sure on what fields I could consider or disciplines but I’m willing to try anything that would make my research stronger.
I’ve researched many headings and at first I was having a hard time finding credible sources and or peer-reviewed sources. As I kept and keep searching for sources its becoming easier and easier because I now have the research question I want and before I was kind of guessing. I would say my work so far is coming along and the fact that I’ve settled on my research question can only make things come together that much better.
