Which types of questions lead to inquiry?
I think almost any question one might have can easily lead to inquiry. For example, if someone randomly has a thought of a plane passing by overhead, they could wonder what the views like from up there and so on.
What types of questions close down inquiry?
Yes and no questions. For example, if someone asked me if I could help them with something but I was in a rush, I wouldn't be able to.
Research Questions.
1. What really happened on 9/11?
2. Are pro athlete's salaries justified?
3. Is college worth the price one pays?
4. How would life be different without currency?
5. Are reality TV shows hurting our children's futures?
6. Is there truly no other form of life in this galaxy or the next?
Jason,
ReplyDeleteI am afraid that these questions are not quite what we're looking for. They lead you to reports, pro/con answers, or subjective papers that are based solely on assumptions and opinions.
I think that you need to spend more time on the assignments, taking more care to apply what we have discussed in class.
